Exploration and experimentation of an in-browser graphics editor, Readymag.

The overall goal of this project is to achieve emphasis on the “human voice” aspect of ransom letters and how they are visually translated into typography. Conceptually driven by the thought of verbal manipulation, how lies and truths are always bent and misused. As well as studying the persona of kidnappers and killers, whether psychologically or through the expression of one’s calligraphy.

To broaden the digital presence, the second platform utilized the social media application, Instagram.

A publication is usually associated as printed matter and a social media application, digital. So a rather tactile approach was implimented into the feed to enhance the idea of contrast and unconventional methods of representation. “juxtapose unexpected combinations of colors, shapes and ideas” — J.
